Are people really sure that they want to reelect a man with the following credentials: has 91 criminal complaints against him; paid hush money to a porn star; incited a crowd of 5,000 individuals to storm the U.S. Capitol; offered a solution to the coronavirus by ingesting bleach; refused to separate himself from his business interests in violation of the U.S. Constitution Emoluments Clause; was the only U.S. president to be impeached twice; makes fun of reporters with disabilities; denigrates gold star families; refused to condemn antisemitism, Islamophobia and the Ku Klux Klan; calls his political foes vermin; claimed to know more than his generals; pulls out of world climate initiatives and treaties; encourages Republican members of Congress to vote down the bipartisan initiative to solve the crisis at the southern border rather than give a political win to his opponent; raises millions of dollars through his PACs and uses it to pay for his personal legal troubles; insults Jews; banned Muslims; assaulted women; and brags how he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and people would still vote for him!
My hope is that the U.S. Supreme Court will not support his claim of immunity. This man is dangerous to our democracy and the world order. Is this the role model we want our children and grandchildren to look up to? Wake up, America!
