You’ll be amazed by how many show tunes you recognize during the George and Ira Gershwin musical “Crazy for You.” Numbers like “I Got Rhythm,” “Someone to Watch Over Me” and “They Can’t Take That Away From Me” are woven into the Tony Award-winning production. “Crazy for You” is a comedy that spins the tale of Manhattan banker Bobby Child, who is sent to Nevada to foreclose on a dilapidated theater. Sparks fly when he meets the owner’s daughter, Polly Baker. Tap dance your way into the Ogunquit Playhouse and be ready for a delightful show.

Rockland Makers Market

Forty vendors will be set up in seaside Harbor Park for the Rockland Makers Market. You’ll find an array of paintings, prints, stained glass, woodworking, handwoven rugs, clothing and local food products. Additional market dates are Aug. 17 and Sept. 7. Makers include Forage & Press pressed flower floral designs, Springdale Farm Creamery and Willows Highlands (beef, heritage pork, jams, gourmet condiments), and Pocomoonshine Crafts (handwoven rugs and tea towels).

Union Fair & Wild Blueberry Festival

The Union Fair dates back to the 1860s, and it’s a huge Midcoast agricultural gathering paired with the Wild Blueberry Festival. The midway will be packed with carnival rides, and there will be exhibitions halls, entertainment, lawnmower racing, livestock pulling and just about every other classic fair activity you can imagine. The Wild Blueberry Festival features pie and dessert contests and the coronation of the Maine Wild Blueberry Queen.

Northern Groove Concert Cruise

Spend a few hours cruising around Casco Bay while dancing to the music of party band Northern Groove. You’ll hear songs you know and love while you feel the waves, catch some rays and keep your eyes peeled for harbor seals. You had better believe the bar will be open, and you can nosh on hot dogs, chips, crackers and other snacks.

Jason Mraz has released eight albums since 2002, and his hits include “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)” and “I’m Yours.” But mostly recently, the singer-songwriter caught Mainers’ eyes in his “American Idol” duet with Julia Gagnon on pop tune “I Feel Like Dancing.” Mraz is currently on tour in support of last year’s “Mystical Magical Rhythmical Radical Ride.” Will he invite Gagnon to sing with him in Bangor? Either way, you’re in for a fun night of music.
