SOUTHERN LEYTE, Philippines – Michael Arthur Baizley, 56, originally from Scarborough, passed away in Southern Leyte, Philippines on May 22, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

Michael cherished his family life, raising his four children – David, Emily, Peter, and Charlie in Poland, Maine. He enjoyed teaching them life skills and farming, a tradition passed down from his father.

Michael attended baptist church and shared his love for the lord with his children. Returning to the Philippines in 2018, he built a homestead with his partner Mary Ann Licayan and her children, whom he lovingly embraced.

Michael is also survived by his mother, Sharon Coates, father, Kenneth Baizley; sister, Nicole Baizley Dussault, and brother, Robert Baizley.
