Some South Portland voters and most in Cape Elizabeth will have a primary race for House candidates on their ballots in the June 11 election.
In South Portland, Michael Pock and Patricia von Schaumburg are vying to be the Republican candidate for the House District 122 seat. The winner will face Democrat Matthew Beck in the November election. Beck won a special election last year to fill the remainder of the late Lois Reckitt’s term.
House District 122 encompasses the northeastern portion of South Portland from Ferry Village south to the Cape Elizabeth border and southwest into Knightville.
For the House District 133 seat, which represents most of Cape Elizabeth, three Democrats are on the primary ballot.
Voters will choose from Michelle Boyer, Cynthia Dill and Kimberly Monaghan to go up against Republican Annie Christy in November.
The District 133 seat is currently held by Rep. Rebecca Millett, a Democrat, who is not running for reelection.
