Break out the hoodies and sweaters and head to Scarborough for Bonfire & Brew, presented by the Eastern Trail Alliance, whose mission is to build, maintain and promote use of the Eastern Trail. Bring a camp chair and plunk down by a fire pit, where you’ll enjoy local beer and food, an auction, and music from the Irish folk group The Napper Tandies. A Soltera E-bike will be raffled off, so you might just ride home in style.
‘The Phantom of the Opera’

Tophat Productions presents a miniature performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical “The Phantom of the Opera.” Vocalists David Worobec and Bethany Perkins will sing the tale of the disfigured genius who lives deep beneath the Paris Opera House and how he secretly instructs young opera singer Christine. Songs include “Think of Me,” “Angel of Music” and “The Music of the Night.” It all happens on a tiny stage with an action figure cast.

If you missed Maine Maple Sunday in the spring, this weekend offers another sweet opportunity to visit more than 25 sugarhouses around the state. Several will offer activities such as pony rides, corn mazes and apple-picking, and you can load up on maple products including syrup, candies and other treats. Harvest Chill

Make your way to Arundel for Harvest Chill, a fall celebration happening outdoors and inside at the gorgeous Vinegar Hill Music Theatre. The afternoon features live music, a makers market, food trucks and seasonal beverages. Bring the kids as they’ll enjoy a bunch of activities including face painting, a fall-themed photo booth and a pumpkin-painting station. The music lineup is singer-songwriter Jason Roman, Kind Kids Music, Old Hat Stringband and Americana tunes from Darcy Sabin. Feast on fare from food trucks Bowlicious, Gemini Cakes and Texas Grace Kitchen.
