Constance Anne (Arnold) Parker

PORTLAND – Constance Anne (Arnold) Parker, 82, died on Feb. 16, 2023.

Constance was born on Feb. 28, 1940, in Portland, the daughter of the late Frank and Cecelia Arnold. She was a parishioner of the former St. Dominic’s Church, loved Portland and enjoyed going to the ocean. She also enjoyed people-watching, especially on the Eastern Promenade. She could start a conversation with anyone and her daily phone calls with family and friends became a beloved ritual. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Parker in 2001; six siblings, Virginia Wilson, Mary McDougall, Martin Arnold, Justin Arnold, Diana Pelletier, and Lucy Vandine. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Jordan of Portland, Tina Ramsay and her husband Mark of Gorham; sister, Joanne Griffin and her husband William of Scarborough; grandchildren, Jarrod Parker and wife Ashlee, Cassandra Ridley and husband Nicholas, Jamieson Ramsay, Zachary Ramsay; great grandchildren, Abram Ramsay, Colton Parker, Benjamin Parker; loyal companion grand-dog, Matilda Mae; many nieces and nephews and close friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., at Calvary Cemetery, 1461 Broadway, South Portland.
