TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth-grade baseball team played their first home game against Brunswick on Friday and won, 11-0.

The Eagles’ bats game alive right out of the gate, scoring nine runs in the first inning.

Kyle Brennan, Liam Huston, Gideon Wheeler, Nate Leslie, Sam Alexander and Blair Kopp all contributed with hits.

Wheeler, Ryan Mello and Kopp commanded the mound with some stong pitching.

Cole Kelly made a standout catch at third base ,catching a line drive up the line for an out.
