BOWDOIN — The Bowdoin Central School is scheduled to host the Bowdoin Community 5K and Fun Run on Saturday.

The event, “Building the Future Through Literacy and Learning,” begins with the 5K at 10 a.m. The Fun Run is slated to go at 11 a.m.

Proceeds go toward providing free books to children.
