TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat High School girls lacrosse team hosted Edward Little on Tuesday and won, 15-3.

The Eagles were led by freshman Emily Welch with three goals, while Eva Jerome and Carly Raymond chipped in with two each.

Other Mt. Ararat goals came from Sierra Gilley, Erin Tome, Rebecca Schuman, Lauren Williams, Isa Blessington, Alison Nolan, Danny Krause and Ronni Pelletier.

Francesca-Beth Haines scored all three goals for the visitors.

Mt. Ararat goalies Bailey Sullivan and Eleanor Skinner combined for five saves, while Caitlin Williams had 10 saves on 25 Mt. Ararat shots.

Mt. Ararat improved to 4-4 and visits Messalonskee on Thursday.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 4
MORSE GIRLS 20

At McMann Field in Bath, the hosts Shipbuilders improved to 6- 1, while Lincoln Academy dropped to 0-7.

Morse led 12-1 at the half as freshman Ann Tolan scored the eventual game-winner on an assist by classmate Amanda Gagne

Ruth Nadeau led with two goals and five assists, while Sophie Sreden picked up four scores and two helpers.

Other Morse scorers included Bronwyn Morissette (1-0), Tolan (3-1), Maddy Olsen (1-1), Isabelle Paulus (3-1), KK Fifield (1-1), Paige Daigle (1-1), Noa Sreden (1- 0), Grace Koslosky (3-1), Amanda Gagne (0-1) and Shira Gersh (0-1).

Goalkeeper Cat Sener worked the first half with three saves on four shots, and Asia DeRosby manned the second half with three saves.

MESS. GIRLS 16

At Thomas College in Waterville, seven players scored at least one goal as the Eagles downed the Dragons in an Eastern A matchup.

Sydney Gagne led 5-2 Messalonskee with four goals and an assist, while Nathalie St. Pierre and Ally Fischang added three goals apiece. Lillian DeLisle and India Lanquet picked up two goals apiece, with a tally from Emily Hogan.

Brunswick (3-2 and slated to host Cony at Bowdoin College today at 5:30 p.m.) received two goals from Anna MacMillan.

In goal, Sydni Collins turned aside 13 shots in the win, while Dragons netminder EmaLeigh Aschbrenner had 17 stops.

YORK BOYS 4
FREEPORT 12

Brady LaFrance tallied four goals and an assist as the Falcons won in their final home game against York, which fell to 2-6.

Freeport, which improved to 6- 3, ends the season with road games against Greely (Friday), Lake Region and Waynflete.

Ramsey Dodge tallied two goals and two assists in the win, while Sam Wogan and Noah Butler chipped in two goals apiece and an assist.

Zac Wogan turned aside 17 shots in goal for Freeport.
