Pauline R. Canning, 82, of Saco, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 at Maine General’s Glenridge Living Community in Augusta, with her loving family at her side. She had lived several years with Alzheimer’s disease. Visiting hours will be on 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Church, of Good Shepherd Parish in Biddeford. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Frances G. Mathieu, 83, of Alfred and a longtime resident of Sanford, died Aug. 6 at The Pavilion in Sanford after a long illness. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Notre Dame Church of St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, 10 Payne St., Springvale.
