It has been a pleasure to serve as the selectmen chairman for the Town of Dayton for the past nine years.
While I worked on many projects to bring the Town of Dayton up to date, my greatest accomplishment was the construction of the green municipal building. When the town got together and built a building with all volunteers, it truly showed the spirit and the pride the residents have in the community. It will be the centerpiece of the town in the years to come.
Now that I have decided not to run again, I am asking you for your vote and support for Dan Gay for selectman on June 10. He has been chair of the budget committee and has done a great job. Gay is fiscally responsible, and I know the town will be in good hands with him.
