FALMOUTH — Kennebunk got goals from Allie Truman and Kyra Schwartzman in the final 1:35 to edge Falmouth in a Western Maine Conference girls lacrosse game on Tuesday.

Two goals apiece from Schwartzman and Carly Sandler along with strikes from Haley Fecko and Jenny Bush put the Rams (7-1) up 6-5 at the half.

Falmouth (3-5) scored the first three goals after the break to take an 8-6 lead and were up 8-7 with two minutes to play, but a turnover allowed Truman to tie the game with 1:35 to play. Bush then won the next draw and found Schwartzman, who rolled around the crease and scored the game-winner with 45 seconds remaining.

Bella Kudas made 10 saves for Kennebunk.

Biddeford 10, Bonny Eagle 6

BIDDEFORD — Olivia Morrison scored a game-high five goals and Emily Noisvert made 18 saves to lead Biddeford to a victory over Bonny Eagle in an SMAA girls lacrosse game on Tuesday at Waterhouse Field.

Taylor Turgeon also scored twice for the Tigers (5-2), setting a program record with their fifth victory.

Hannah Litif, Leah Carter and Krystal Chaison all scored twice for the Scots (1-6), who got 20 saves from Abby Ward.

Massabesic 6, Windham 5

WATERBORO — Rayne Whitten scored a game-high three goals and Alexis Foglio added two as Massabesic (7-1) topped Windham in an SMAA girls lacrosse game Tuesday.

Erin Malloy made 17 saves for the Eagles (3-4).

Wells 14, Fryeburg Academy 8

WELLS — Jasmine Loukola scored five games and dished out two assists to lead Wells past Fryeburg Academy in a Western Maine Conference girls lacrosse game Tuesday.

Nikki Moody added three goals and an assist for the Warriors (4-4), which also got three goals from Amanda Deshaies, two goals and two assists from Hailey Smith and 19 saves in goal from Izzy Smith.

Jasmine Ramsey made eight saves in goal for the Raiders (1-7).

Softball

THORNTON 5, NOBLE 0

NORTH BERWICK — Bailey Tremblay pitched a three-hit shutout and the Thornton offense scored all its runs after the third inning as the Trojans beat Noble 5-0 in an SMAA softball game on Tuesday.

Tremblay scattered five walks while striking out eight batters, and went 2-for-4 at the plate with a run scored.

Morgan Dube also had two hits, including a double, and Kaylee Burns smacked a home run for the Trojans.

Amber Kelly pitched a complete game for the Knights and allowed just one earned run, but gave up eight hits and five walks. She also had one of the Knights’ three hits in the game.
