BIDDEFORD — Cynthia Ann Rowe, 68, of Biddeford, joined her husband in heaven Oct. 28, while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Waterville July 22, 1946, a daughter of James and Alfreda Rowland.

She was a 1987 graduate of Biddeford High School and went on to get her associate’s degree from McIntosh College. She worked various jobs from clam shucking to managing a restaurant as well as factory work.

Her hobbies included gardening, baking and attending spiritual gatherings. She doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved the time that she spent with them. She was best known for bragging to everyone who would listen about how great her children and grandchildren were.

She was preceded in death by: her amazing husband, Stanley E. Rowe Sr.; her parents; and her sister, Judy L. Howard.

She leaves behind: Tammy Mastera and her husband Jeff of Hiram, Robert Bayley and his wife Desiree of Linden, Tennessee, Melissa Verrill and her husband Nathan of East Waterboro, Edward Bayley and his wife Christina, and Mary Rowe and her partner James, all of Biddeford.

She also leaves behind: her four lovingly raised children, Heath Bayley, Joseph Bayley and his partner Alicia and Harry Bayley and his wife Heidi, all of Biddeford, and Heather Bayley and her partner Ray of Sanford; six stepchildren from her husband, Stan; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her brother, James of Kissimmee, Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cynthia’s children would like to thank the nurses, doctors and CNAs at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford in the ICU for the exceptional care that was provided to their mother as well as the family through this difficult time.
