SOUTH PORTLAND – The South Portland Historical Society is inviting the public to its 50th anniversary meeting and lecture on Wednesday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center. The event is free for members and $10 for non-members.

The lecture will cover “The History and Architecture of the Willard Neighborhood” and will be presented by the Kathy DiPhilippo, president of the historical society, in collaboration with Hilary Bassett, executive director of Greater Portland Landmarks.
