WESTBROOK – Patrica “Patty” A. Morse, 86, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, Nov. 5, 2024, after a difficult three-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Her husband of 68 years was at her side.
Patty was one of six children of Phillip and Dorothy Anderson of Westbrook. She graduated from Westbrook High School and remained a lifelong member of the community.
Patty enjoyed entertaining in her home and around their pool. She had many hobbies, among them sewing, ceramics, candle making and crocheting. Above all, she was a skilled and prolific knitter, showering her family throughout the years with afghans, sweaters, hats and more.
She was an avid video game junkie and earned the nickname “Nintendo Nini” from her three grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Josiah Morse; her son, Roger Morse, his wife Carol “CJ” of Westbrook, daughter, Laurie Morse of Scarborough; grandchildren Emily Morse of Austin Texas, Josiah Morse of Westbrook, Allie Stockwell of Windham, her husband Hayden; and three great-grandchildren, Evelyn Stockwell, Arlo Stockwell and Hartley Morse. Patty is also survived by a brother, Jack Anderson of Westbrook and a sister, Kathryn Phillips of Windham.
She was predeceased by brothers Earl Anderson, Bob Anderson and sister, Cheryl Shena.
There will be no visiting hours or funeral services.
