Luis Cardoso and Owen Hayes scored in a three-minute span in the first half and Yarmouth closed its regular season with a 2-1 win at Cape Elizabeth on Tuesday.

Yarmouth (11-1-2), the four-time defending Class B state champion, will be the No. 3 seed in the South regional.

The Clippers have won seven in a row since a midseason loss to top-seeded Greely.

Fourth-seeded Cape Elizabeth (9-4-1) got a second-half goal from Will Vaine.

SCARBOROUGH 4, KENNEBUNK 0: The Red Storm (12-1-1) got goals from Cooper Mallar, EJ Herrick, Denver Bachman and Matthew Booth as they extended their winning streak to seven games, beating the visiting Rams (8-5-1) in a regular-season finale.

Ibrahim Jabril, Carter Blanche, Khalil Ghosheh and Angelo Gomez were all credited with an assist.

Seamus Corry made five saves and Ryan Shugars stopped one shot as they combined for the shutout.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, WAYNFLETE 2: Jacob Colaluca scored with an assist from Jesse Mutagoma with 11 minutes remaining to give the Panthers (8-5-1) a win over the Flyers (6-7-1) in Portland.

NYA took an early lead on a goal from Jack Hebert. After Abie Weisman answered for the Flyers, Harry Seely scored on a rebound to give NYA a 2-1 halftime lead.

Charles Reynolds tied the score for Waynflete early in the second half.

PINE TREE ACADEMY 12, DIRIGO 4: David Knowles scored three goals, and Camden Brace and Miguel Mattos each added two for the Breakers (12-2) in a win over the Cougars (0-14) at Freeport.

King Intwale, Asher Heahson, Mason Litelle, Sammy Batista and Colby Soberge were the other Pine Tree goal scorers.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3, POLAND 0: The Raiders (7-6-1) scored all of their goals in the first half and took down the Knights (6-8) in Poland.

Jake Eveleth, Andre DiMolfetta and Juan Dorado scored for the Raiders.

GREELY 7, WELLS 0: Bez Mendelsohn notched a pair of goals as the Rangers (12-0-2) completed an undefeated regular season by defeating the Warriors (3-10-1) in Cumberland.

Owen Piesik, Mason Rogers, Sam Anania, Max Allen and Kannon Crocker also scored.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

KENNEBUNK 2, BIDDEFORD 0: Maddie Dowling one-timed a cross from Alina Auriemma for the opening goal as the Rams (7-3-4) ended their regular season with a win over the Tigers (1-13) in Kennebunk.

Ava McCourt made it 2-0 late in the first half, assisted by Kendall Therrien.

Kennebunk keeper Kate Orendorf stopped six shots, and Biddeford’s Gabby Smith made 14 saves.

CHEVERUS 6, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Sophia Monfa put in three goals as the Stags (10-2-2) defeated the Red Riots (4-7-3) in Portland.

Jill Foley chipped in with two goals and an assist. Caoimhe Oliver rounded out the scoring.

BRUNSWICK 3, MT. ARARAT 1: Lisi Palmer scored one goal and set up two others as the Dragons (8-5-1) beat the Eagles (10-4) in Brunswick.

Lexi Morin and Eva Kousky were the other Brunswick goal scorers.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 5, WAYNFLETE 1: Delia Fontana had three goals, two in the second half, to lead the way for the Panthers (11-3) as they cruised past the Flyers (5-8-1) in Yarmouth.

Alicia Fontana and Delphine Daniels each added a goal. Emily Robbins was credited with a pair of assists.

Fallon Culley was the goal scorer for Waynflete.

Rachel Yordon stopped 11 shots for the Flyers. NYA’s Sadie Morgan made five saves.

GARDINER 2, OCEANSIDE 0: Abby Cooley and Sophia Marrone scored for the Tigers (9-4-1) in a win over the Mariners (9-3-2) at Gardiner.

WINDHAM 4, THORNTON ACADEMY 0: Neve Ledbetter scored twice on headers, and the Eagles (12-1-1) shut out the Trojans (7-4-3) in Windham.

Emily Talbot and Stella Jarvais also scored for Windham, the No. 2 team in the Varsity Maine top 10. Kyla Harvie, Marley Jarvais and Bella Vassoler picked up assists, including a chip by Vassoler that set up Ledbetter’s second goal.

Libby Hartwell made six saves to earn the shutout. Thornton’s Ava Lomax stopped eight shots.

SCARBOROUGH 4, GORHAM 0: The visiting Red Storm (11-1-2) received goals from Grace Carlista, Emerson Flaker, Delia Fravert and Paige Garlock in a win over the Rams (11-2-1) at Gorham.

Sophia Rinaldi made five saves for Scarborough, which likely secured the No. 2 seed in the Class A South playoffs and homefield advantage in a possible semifinal rematch with No. 3 Gorham.

CAPE ELIZABETH 1, YARMOUTH 0: CC Duryee scored late in the first half, and the Capers (10-1-3) beat the Clippers (6-4-4) in Yarmouth.

Kelsey Law earned the shutout, making five saves. Yarmouth’s Marian Pitney stopped six shots.

YORK 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: The Wildcats (4-9-1) finished the regular season with an overtime win over the Patriots (4-8-2) in Gray.

Veda Kiper Phelps and Chloe DeLuca scored for York, Scarlett Ring had an assist, and Ava Hickey made three saves.

Laney Farrar scored Gray-New Gloucester’s goal. Hailey Carson finished with six saves.

FIELD HOCKEY

FALMOUTH 3, WINDHAM 1: Ani Bush broke a 1-1 tie with 2:25 remaining and Allie Sweetser added an insurance goal as the Navigators (9-5) topped the Eagles (8-6) at Falmouth.

Lily Young got a first-half goal for Falmouth.

Zoe Dries was the goal scorer for Windham.
