JD Vance has echoed Trump’s harmful and malicious lies about Haitians in Springfield, Ohio, eating residents’ cats and dogs. Haitians are in Springfield legally. There have been bomb threats at schools, hospitals and the City Hall in Springfield. Mike DeWine, the Republican governor of Ohio, visited the city and denounced Trump and Vance’s lies.
When pressed, Vance admitted he has been spreading this sickening lie but said that “creating stories” is what it took to get the attention of the media. He and Trump are campaigning to hold the highest offices in our country and are content with spreading lies. We know Trump is a compulsive liar, and now, we see his running mate is cut from the same cloth.
Voters should think that over when they head to the polls on Nov. 5.
