SACO – Maureen Topper Gagnon passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024. Maureen was born in Portland. She graduated from Saint Joseph’s Academy in 1958. Her first job was Chrysler Missile Plant in Detroit. She also lived in New York and Ohio before coming back to Maine where she spent many days enjoying the ocean with family from near and far.

She was predeceased by her beloved sisters, Catherine Ligotte and Betty Ann Darling and brother, John Topper. She is survived by her beloved children, Eric Gagnon and wife Ronellen and daughter, Sarah Wilson and fiancé Mitch Lehigh and her precious granddaughters, Kassie Smith and Danielle Gagnon.

She enjoyed volunteering at nursing homes and was an animal lover. She never met a dog she didn’t like. She was a woman of faith and friend of Bill W.

There will be a celebration of life at Fort Williams later this summer with family and friends.
