The recent election in Falmouth warrants a number of thank-you’s: to the many people who came out on a beautiful Tuesday or voted early, exercising our fundamental right to vote; to the staff and volunteers, once again impeccably led by Town Clerk Ellen Planer, who made the process hassle-free and efficient; and to the candidates for School Committee, Town Council, the state House of Representatives and the state Senate, most of whom spent the entire day greeting people as they entered the gym at Falmouth High. I personally am grateful to those who elected me to serve on the Town Council, but even more grateful that we continue to have thoughtful people willing to serve in these positions.
