The Cultural Cuisine event will be hosted by the Biddeford Cultural and Heritage Center at 1 pm. as part of the La Kermesse festival on West Street in Biddeford. Cultural Cuisine will be in the big tent offering samples of food from around the world.

Join Ferry Beach Retreat & Conference Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for music, an all-you-can-eat cookout, a tour of the Ferry Beach campus, browse a few craft vendors, and learn all about Ferry Beach. This event is free to attend, some activities like the cookout have associated costs (cookout: $20 adult, $17 youth, under age 8 are free with a paying adult). A free concert followed by a bean supper will take place at the North Saco Congressional Church located at the corner of Flag Pond, Heath and Rocky Hill Roads (126 Rocky Hill Road). The concert will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. The bean supper will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The cost for the supper is $10 for adults and $7 for children. The menu includes: two kinds of beans, hot dogs, cole slaw, homemade brown bread, potato salad and pie.

Agateware Throwing and Carving Workshop with Eck McCanless, takes place Saturday, June 29 and Sunday June 30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mill Pond Ceramics Studio, 2 Main St., Suite 18-214, Biddeford. During this two-day, hands-on, intensive workshop with Eck McCanless, participants will learn how to make Agateware on the wheel and carve it to reveal patterns similar to woodgrain, ripple ice cream.
