KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. – John Stanley McQuade of Keystone Heights, Fla. passed away peacefully in his home on May 16, 2024, at the age of 91. 

He served in Korea 1953-54 as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a 67-year member of Charles River Masonic Lodge. He was a passionate reader, an avid volunteer for the ACS, Park of the Palms, and often read to the blind on AM radio. Being a devout Christian, he was an active member of the Congregational churches of Saco, and Sanibel, Fla. As a notary, he officiated at many weddings. Stan will be missed.

He was predeceased by wife, Rita McQuade of Needham, Mass.; parents John and Pearl McQuade of Boston, Mass.; as well as brother, Robert McQuade and sister, Doris Wooster.

He is survived by son, Glenn McQuade.

Stan was a loving husband, father and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
