Gerard J. Kidder

SCARBOROUGH – Gerard J. Kidder, 82, son of Guy and Evelyn Kidder, was born in Concord, N.H. and passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, in Scarborough where he had lived for 14 years.

A graduate of Franklin, N,H. High School (1960), and Concord Commercial College (1964). He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the Tucker Lodge No. 99 in Raymond, N.H.

He dedicated 30 years of his career as an assistant materials control supervisor at Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, N.H., followed by 14 years at NAPA in Laconia, N.H. and Scarborough, and five years at Morong Brothers, Falmouth.

Jerry enjoyed travels to Alaska and Hawaii with his wife of 50 years, Marylyn Langford Kidder. He looked forward to winters in Edgewater, Fla. and visiting his brother, Robert Kidder and his wife Susan in Sanibel, Fla. and Franklin, N.H.

An aggressive cancer took our smiling, easy-going, friendly Jerry away from us too soon, leaving a void in the hearts of his countless friends and family who meant everything to him.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Kidder Landry (Steven), grandsons Joseph (Andrea), and Peter (Jojo) and great-granddaughter, Jade, all of Pembroke, N.H. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Jerry Kidder at the Clambake Seafood Restaurant, 354 Pine Point Rd., in Scarborough, Thursday, June 20, 1 to 4 p.m. This will be an afternoon of remembrance where everyone can share a story, tell a favorite memory, say a prayer, or just enjoy some of Jerry’s favorite songs.

Please come and share your stories, and pass the word along to our closest friends. If you cannot attend, please send along your favorite memory, photo, or story. Looking forward to seeing you all there as we remember and honor a wonderful man.
