PERU – Angel Marie Clifford, 32, died Thursday May 4, 2023 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was a resident of Peru.

Angel was born in Rumford, on Jan. 7, 1991, and was the daughter of Wayne and Tonia (Widger) McCollough. She was a graduate of Mountain Valley High School and Kaplan University. She worked for the Town of Peru as a Deputy Clerk. She loved spending time with her children and crafting.

Angel was married in Clay County, Fla., on May 2, 2013, to Arthur Clifford who survives of Peru.

Other survivors include her sons, Price and Koehn and daughter Ellianna of Peru, parents, Wayne and Tonia McCollough of Mexico, brothers Wayne McCollough, Jr and wife Brittany of Rumford and Tucker of Mexico, maternal grandmother, Brenda Brown of Canton.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother Brenda “Buffy” McCollough.

A Celebration of Life will be held 4 p.m., Sunday May 21, 2023, at the American Legion on Congress Street in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, Maine.
