Victor Chau’s 13-year commitment to this city is significantly impressive.

Victor is consistently prepared, dedicated and concentrated on Westbrook’s financial wellness.

I’ve fended off protesters, escorting women to clinics. I unequivocally support women’s rights, and I’m proud of our city’s proclamation.

I know Victor researches everything, including state law prevails over city’s proclamations. That’s why he proposed the proclamation be considered at the state level, not city. He worried that lacking authority, it might just create divisiveness. Did I wish he voted yes?  Yes. However, I couldn’t fault his logic.

For the balanced thought-process he’s always demonstrated to be misconstrued as anti-women’s rights   is beyond disgraceful and speaks directly to the divisiveness he predicted.

As an independent voter, women’s rights supporter, long-term resident and an informed taxpayer, I urge you to vote Victor Chau for City Council. We need his dedication right now.
