Paul Roberts

BRUNSWICK – Paul Roberts, 86, died peacefully surrounded by his children on August 20, 2022. Over the years he was a son, brother, teacher, business owner, friend, father and the title that he loved most was husband to Ann Mackey Roberts. After missing her for over 25 years, he now joins her in death and rests eternally by her side at St. Mary Cemetery in Tewksbury, Mass.

Very proud – especially of his Irish heritage – the always humorous Roberts, who knew the punch line of every dirty joke, was born and raised in Lowell, Mass. prior to moving to Maine in 1998.

Son of the late John and Anne (Garrity) Roberts, he is survived by three children, Paula Roberts and her domestic partner Paul Perzanoski of Brunswick, Mark F. Roberts and his wife Tiffani of New Bern, N.C., and Paul Roberts and his wife Trudi; and his grandchildren, Samantha Roberts and Evan Roberts both of Tyngsboro; brothers, Walter P. Roberts, Frederick G. Roberts, sisters, Helen M. Roberts, and Mary “Lally“ Curran.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Roberts, Francis Roberts, Anne (Roberts) Casey, Eileen (Roberts) Shea, Rita (Roberts) Coughlin, Marion (Roberts) Sweeney and John Roberts.
