The festival, to be held on the grounds of Massabesic Middle School, brings the community together to celebrate summer and have fun.
Starting off the fun Friday night at 6 p.m. is the aptly named “Just For Fun Karaoke,” which will be followed by an outdoor family movie that family and friends can get together and watch The Goonies.
Saturday will be kicked off with the Annual Waterboro Old Home Days parade which makes its way form McLucas Road down old Alfred road to the middle school.
This year’s theme is “Through the Decades” — where participants pick their favorite decade and dress the part.
Folks are invited to follow the parade back to MMS and enjoy the food, rides and crafters.
There are helicopter rides scheduled for a $35 fee, and child safety seat checks both Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
For the little ones, there’s a free bounce house and a number of other amusements.
On Saturday, folks can dance the night away with Motor Booty Affair starting at 8 p.m., followed by the fireworks.
For more information on the events, go to the Waterboro Old Home Days Facebook page.
