BATH

Bath Savings Institution recently announced the promotions of several employees.

Patricia Taggart of West Bath has been promoted to vice president. She has been with Bath Savings for 18 years and manages the bank’s largest office in Bath. Under her leadership, deposits in Bath have more than doubled to $289 million. Taggart is actively involved in community service programs, including the Bath Backpack Program and Women, Work & Community.

Andrea Martin has been promoted to vice president. A resident of Yarmouth, Martin has been with the bank for 11 years. She currently manages the Freeport office, which under her leadership was voted the Best Bank in Freeport in 2015. She also serves as president of the Freeport Historical Society.

Kathy Reed of Brunswick has been promoted to vice president. With 25 years of banking experience, Reed manages the bank’s Brunswick office where she has cultivated a strong team spirit with a focus on customer care. Under her leadership, the office has been a two-time winner of the bank’s Relationship Builder and Customer Care awards.

“We are pleased with the high level of customer service and expertise these women bring the bank,” said Glenn Hutchinson, president and CEO. “Under their leadership, their branches have grown and flourished.”

Hutchinson also announced the promotion of five other bank employees.

Marcia Wallace has been promoted to AVP Mortgage Processing and Underwriting Department manager. She joined Bath Savings in 2006 as a loan processor and has more than 22 years of experience in the processing/underwriting of mortgage loans. She is a 2015 graduate of the New England School of Financial Studies at Babson.

Megan Smith-Pinkham has been promoted to loan servicing manager. She began her banking career in 2005 as a teller in the Boothbay Harbor office. She is an active participant in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Bowl for Kid’s Sake, and for the past few years she has co-chaired the bank’s United Way campaign to record-breaking success.

Paul Cole has been promoted to information technology manager. Cole joined BSI in 1999 as a student in the bank’s school banking program at Morse High School. After graduation, he joined the bank full-time. As part of the IT team, Cole has participated in the implementation of numerous technological advancements by the bank, and he has spearheaded several software and systems upgrades.

Michelle Dickinson has been promoted to human resources manager. Dickinson came to Bath Savings in 2001 with 13 years of banking experience. She joined the HR department in 2005 and in 2014 earned her human resources management diploma from SNHU.

Daniel Wilson has been named deposit operations manager. Wilson joined Bath Savings in 2005. He has specialized training in the area of IRAs and deposit operations compliance. He is an active participant in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Bowl for Kid’s Sake, and as co-chair of the bank’s United Way Campaign has been instrumental in the program’s record-breaking success.

Hutchinson said, “We are pleased to recognize these employees for their commitment to the bank, their strong work ethic and their community service. We are fortunate to have them on our team.”
