Biddeford police arrested a local man on a robbery charges, the third man arrested as a result of an investigation into a series of holdups over the past two weeks.

The armed robbery targets included variety stores and pizza delivery drivers, police said.

The department’s Street Crimes Unit on Tuesday arrested Justin Haycock, 25.

On Thursday, police arrested Michael Constabile, 25, following a robbery at the Super Sub Shop on Jefferson Street. He had tried to flee, first on a bicycle then on foot, police said.

Following his arrest, police executed a search warrant Friday at 84 High St. and found evidence related to the robberies. They also found Erick Robinson, 31, who was charged with violating bail conditions and failure to appear in court.
