For those who want a different governor for the next four years, the only question should be who is the best alternative. We believe the televised debates made that answer very clear: Eliot Cutler has the vision and the plan to move Maine forward. As an independent governor, Cutler will be free of the ideology and partisan gridlock and the special interest groups that are pouring millions of dollars into his opponents’ campaigns.
As the Bangor Daily News said in endorsing Cutler, “voters deserve better.” Cutler is the only candidate who is and will remain committed only to the people of Maine.
In originally endorsing Cutler, independent Sen. Angus King said: “Eliot Cutler is going to win this election.” Independent voters are the largest segment of voters in Maine. We can make this happen. Vote for Eliot Cutler.
