The Harvest Fair on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is again being presented by St. David’s Episcopal Church, located at 138 York St. (Route 1 South near the Wells line in Kennebunk.) New this year will be a table of high-quality clothing from Ramblers Way Farm, donated by owners Tom and Kate Chappell.

The baskets by raffle feature collections of themed items such as “chocolate lovers,” “movie night,” “teddy bears,” “teas,” and “spa,” as well as familiar names such as Stonewall Kitchen. Raffle tickets will be sold for five for $5, 13 for $10, and 25 for $20, enabling lucky winners to get great values.

Food abounds with homemade baked goods and sweets for sale, along with homemade frozen foods including cheese balls and chicken pot pies. Lunch will be a special treat featuring soups by local providers including H.B. Provisions, Squaretoes, Kitchen Chicks and Cherie’s. The church will provide an opportunity to sample their specialties and open doors to new relationships. Coffee and Congdon’s doughnut holes will be free and available

all morning.

The silent auction will include dozens of items and gift certificates from local restaurants, stores and salons. Some examples include items from Cottage Breeze Day Spa, Anchor Fence, Blooms Flower Shoppe, Compliments and Minka Galleries in Kennebunkport, a stay at the Port Inn, a full cord of wood delivered locally from Hazelwood Handyman, two Pairs of Tickets to the Red Sox for next season, Ogunquit Playhouse tickets, Smitty’s movie tickets and more.

While attendees are having fun and enjoying food, they will be serenaded by the acoustic duo of Jeff Line and Heather McLellan, “October Road.” They will be presenting a special repertoire of musical selections to delight all ages.

The Harvest Fair at St. David’s is an annual favorite providing a good time with neighbors and friends as the church welcomes the season of harvest and the holidays to follow. There is plenty of parking and weather is not an issue as the “Great Hall” has plenty of warm, dry space. The silent auction ends, and basket raffles are drawn, at 2:30 p.m.
