BRUNSWICK — Rector Rev. Carolyn Eklund and the parish of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church are planning a public service of Evensong for the Feast of All Saints on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 4 p.m.

Evensong is a service of choral prayer led by a choir, and has been part of the Anglican and Episcopal tradition for centuries. The music is selected to be rich, worshipful and beautiful. The St. Paul’s choir and Bowdoin’s George Lopez on organ, under the direction of Bob Judd, will present music by Stanley Marchant, Herbert Murrill, Charles Stanford and William Smith.

Fellowship and refreshments will follow the 45- minute service.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, consecrated in 1845, has provided worship in Brunswick for nearly 170 years. The sanctuary was renovated in 2012, at which time a new state-of-the-art hybrid organ was installed.

St. Paul’s is located at 27 Pleasant St. in Brunswick. Parking is available behind the church (off Union Street).
