What I liked most about the third gubernatorial debate was the suggestion by Mr. Cutler that both he and Mr. Michaud might make the commitment to, at the last moment, if it appeared that one of them could not win — to free their supporters to vote for another candidate.

This is very statesmanlike. It makes me proud, once more, to be privileged to cast my vote in the grand State of Maine.
