I write this letter in support of Sara Gideon’s re-election campaign for Maine’s House of Representatives. Sara has accomplished a lot as a freshman legislator and has made us proud:

• Sara worked across the aisle with Republicans and Independents alike seeking a bipartisan solution to tax reform.

• Sara sponsored and led the effort to pass an anti-overdose medication bill, avoiding a veto by forging a compromise with Gov. LePage.

• Sara quickly got up to speed on the complex Energy, Utilities, and Technology Committee, and by the end of session became one of the leaders of the committee.

Not only has Sara represented our district wonderfully in Augusta, but she continues to be a close friend of our family. Please vote for Sara and send her back to the Legislature in Augusta, where she will continue to use her intellect, charm, and grace to provide us with the best possible representation for Freeport and Pownal.
