CASTLETON, Vt. — Castleton State College student Eric Dowd of Richmond was recently awarded the Student Life College Service Award for the 2013-14 academic year.

This award is given annually to a student or students who have made outstanding contributions to Castleton through their participation in various extracurricular activities.

Dowd also received the SGA Good Citizenship Award, in recognition of his devotion to the welfare of the college and his outstanding performance as a campus leader.
