BIDDEFORD — Maurice and Rachel Guay of Biddeford recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple wed on May 23, 1964.

Rachel works as a secretary in the Guidance Department at Biddeford High School. Maurice is a retired mechanic and owned a gas station.

They have three children, Denise Vigneault of Arundel, Dana Guay and Donna Cadorette, both of Biddeford; and eight grandchildren.

Their children hosted a celebration at Pier 77 Restaurant on May 17 with other family members also in attendance.
