TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade softball team overcame a five-run Lewiston first inning for a comefrom behind 11-9 victory on Wednesday.

Mt. Ararat’s offense was led by Camille Rowe, Ainsley Bryant, Breanne McCourt and Holly Temple. Each reached base three times.

After a rough first inning, Temple settled down on the mound, striking out 13 for the win.

Tied 9-9 in the sixth, McCourt gave the Eagles the lead.
