TOPSHAM β€” The Mt. Ararat High School boys lacrosse team jumped out to a 5-1 first-quarter lead and held on for a 6-4 Eastern Maine Class A win over Edward Little on Monday.

Kellen Radulski led the 7-2 Eagles with two goals and an assist. Kyle Lussier, Nick Dow, Jake Schoenberg and Eli Timberlake chipped in one goal each, with Orion Sargent picking up an assist.

Connor Read turned aside eight shots for the win.

Edward Little (3-4) goaltender Chris Poisson had 11 saves.

β€œIt was really muddy, and once the sticks got wet, it was tough,” said Mt. Ararat coach Matt Haskell, whose squad hosts Cony on Wednesday.
