SANFORD — Cancer Care Center of York County will be offering an evening presentation focused on health insurance literacy from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4.
Robin Hewitt Bibber and Celyn Reed, who are York County Community Action and Nasson Health Care navigators, will provide attendees with a better understanding of the basics of health insurance, including terms like “deductible,” “co-insurance,” “networks” and more.
They will also explain how to use and get the most out of an insurance plan, where and when to get help with insurance, and a little information on the Affordable Care Act.
All participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, and all types of insurance will be discussed.

The Cancer Care Center is located at 27 Industrial Ave. in Sanford.
