James J. Benson, 85, of Biddeford, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St. in Saco. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. Frank “Al” “Popeye” Coombs, 54, passed away peacefully on Nov. 22, 2013 at the Gosnell House in Scarborough, after a short, difficult battle with melanoma cancer. Frances Tarazewich Mailman, 90, of Portland, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at her home, with her husband and family by her side. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home in Saco. Patricia Harding Stinson, a lifelong resident of Kennebunk, died peacefully on Nov. 14, 2013 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She had been battling breast cancer for the past year. At Patty’s request, there would be no memorial service, but that each of her friends and family remember her in their own way.
