Laura Marie Kennedy Brown, 52, of South Berwick, passed away Sept. 5, 2012, after a brief illness, in San Diego, Calif. All are welcome to attend a celebration of life to be held on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. at Guppey Park in Dover, N.H. Gary Charland, 57, of Union Avenue in Old Orchard Beach, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough, after a long illness. There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at Most Holy Trinity Church Good Shepherd Parish, 271 Main St. in Saco. A reception will follow the Mass at Most Holy Trinity Parish Hall. Arrangements are by the Old Orchard Beach Funeral Home, 36 Portland Ave. in Old Orchard Beach.
Vene Ralph “Frenchie” Nadeau, 67, of Green Ridge, Mo. and formerly of Biddeford, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Mo. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sedalia, Mo., with Fr. James Betzen officiating. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Mo., with full military honors. Prayers of the Rosary will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, with visitation to follow until 8 p.m. at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia, Mo.
